A friend is someone who you can call when you are enraged and frustrated because you have to clean up an unbelievable mess made when your child flung around a torn, full diaper and the diaper gel crystals are all over the hallway, dining room floor, table, and chairs. And they are almost impossible to wipe up.
A True Friend is someone who shows up on your doorstep a few minutes later with homemade chocolate chip cookies and offers to help you clean it up, even though you didn't ask.

I am a firm believer in lending a helping hand, but you're right--the sincerity of my friendship would truly come into question if dirty diapers were involved.
